Speed Dropping - wired and wireless

Hi guys, im having a constant problem of speed dropping to below 3mbs. Mainly noticeable when streaming media via android box which is connected via ethernet. I have also done a speed test on my wired pc when the connection drops and get a very low speed ( below 5mbs). The router also restarts itself every so often. First time I called customer services, they updated firmware on the superhub. Second time they asked me to remove a wireless router which was connected to the hub and see whether the router runs stable. Its really becoming frustrating now because it seems customer services don't want to really help or send a engineer to remedy the issue. Please help

we had speed problems in L36 from Jan 2015, they were resolved THIS MONTH!

So frustrating. I won't be waiting a year I will be cancelling based in virgin media not providing the service I'm paying for.
