Experiencing a massive broadband speed drop in the evening from my usual 72 mbps to 2/3 mbps, I would expect a speed drop in busy times but this is strangulation. Is there not a minimum service level I could reasonably expect ??
Welcome to the forum. I'm really sorry to hear of the slow speeds you've been experiencing recently. I've run some checks on your connection and everything looks ok with your hub and network segment. Are you connected wired or wireless when you experience these slow speeds in the evening? If it's wireless is there any improvement over ethernet?
Thanks for checking the system out for me. It was on Wi-Fi that I experienced some of the problems, which I have now addressed by using a 3rd party router (Linksys WRT1900ACS) which appears to have eased the problem. The Ethernet connection now seems to have stabilised as well.
