I have 100Mb broadband which worked great for months after installation. Although for the past 4 months It has been awful, they carried out work in my area last month but it has not helped at all. I've just carried out a check which is telling my I'm getting a download speed of 18mbps at the moment but the tests I have run on my equipment say everything is fine

Sorry to hear that you're getting slow speeds, I know this is frustrating.
I know you've said the problem is wireless but are you able to test the hard-wired connection? Ideally we would like to see speed test results tested with an Ethernet connected, if you don't have one let me know and I can send you one.
For the wireless side of things, often changing the operating channel will help. Please take a look at this help article for more info.
