Slow speeds should be on 200mpbs getting 30-150mpbs still ongoing issue

Hi again,

Will try to provide as much information as possible hopefully somebody can help.

So in the last few months I have noticed I am not getting my full 200mbs.

I have tried everything from modem mode to using the super hub 3.0 and my speed test result in speeds from 30mbps to 150mbps

Then when downloading using my server I am using cat5e on gigabit ports and still the speed is showing at 30-70mbps have tried at various different times but still having the same issue.

Any help would be greatful.

If you go to http://192.168.100.1/ to get the VM hub GUI. Don't login but instead click on Router Status which is either a button in the top right of the screen or a text link at the bottom of the screen depending on which hub you have. Click on the Downstream, Upstream and Network Log sections and copy & paste the figures from those screens and post them here, don't worry about the formatting or you can post screen shots if that is easier.

The community can have a look for you and see if anything in the figures looks wrong and advise accordingly. Or you can wait for the VM staff to pick up this thread (can take up to a week) and run checks on your line.

My setup: Vivid 200 Optical fibre with Superhub 2 in modem mode connected to a Netgear R7000 router. Telewest/VM user since 2001.

Thanks for taking the time to post on the community.

 

I'm sorry to read that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.

 

I've managed to locate your account and there are peaks of high traffic during the evening which may impact you, however it is currently not breaching our thresholds. We will continue to monitor this issue.

 

With the speed tests you completed were they direct to the Super Hub without your equipment attached? Are you able to complete speed tests at different times of the day please to see if there are any differences?
