Slow speed - response from Virgin

Been having slow speed issues for ages. Got this reply after a tweet.

Yeah... I am too, been fobbed off for the 3rd time with a review date that keeps slipping since October. The service has been missold simple as that, time to switch for me. Next time I'll read the forums first before choosing a provider!

LOL! 

Do not be fobbed off. I'm surprised they have the nerve to put a time next to that date when they promise and can't deliver and end up moving the dates numerous times.

It took a year and five months for me to get my speeds back from over utilisation!

If VM are 100% at fault, utilisation (over subscribing) is their problem, then make a formal complaint with VM, after 8 weeks if its not resolved take it to CISAS, follow my simple guide to make it easier.

You can, if you provide enough evidence to CISAS you can get up to, if not more than 50% of your BB costs.

Hit them in their pocket not yours.

Also, TBH, the more that complain paints a picture to CISAS, and in turn OFCOM might get involved, it might be a small percentage, but its a big enough percentage to make heads turn.

Don't procrastinate, go and do it.

Hi, sent off my complaint letter to Virgin last week, not that I think they will do anything.

If I get a reply it will just be the usual platitudes.

Did you do it by recorded delivery etc? Can claim it never turned up otherwise.
