Slow internet in the evenings

What's happening to our download speeds, especially in the evenings?

we're paying for 70mbs and are sometimes getting less than 1!

please could someone give an honest transparent answer?

I've managed to locate your account and it appears you are being affected by a high peak time traffic fault in your area. The reference number is F003489544 and has a review date of 26th July.

Thank you for taking the time to research and reply.

However, I wonder if you could expand, please?

Just what is this "fault" you mention? It sounds like a basic lack of capacity to me. Is this the case? In any event, what's stopping it being rectified for months? I note it is described as a review date, which implies it may not be resolved by the.

Can you give more information about what is actually being done to resolve this?

Apologies for the fault in your area, this does affect peak time traffic. These faults can be tricky and take a little while to resolve due to the complexity of the work required. Often we will need to gain permission from 3rd parties before we can begin work, this in itself can cause hold ups. If you keep in touch with us we will gladly provide progress updates.
