Slow internet at peak time

I have seen this is a current theme with VM and super slow speeds at peak times, we have a 70MB package but during peak times we only get 37MB, causing disruption, buffering & stagmented services to various devices.

We've even had buffering in non peak time when theres only one device on.

It would be great if someone from VM could look into the issue in our area & help in some way.

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your connection.

 

I've located your account and everything is looking healthy at the moment. Your signal levels are all as they should be and there are no issues with the network in your area.

 

Are you connecting wired or wirelessly?

 

I'd like you to try running a speed test with the hub in Modem Mode to see what kind of results you get.

I have waited until there is disruption to our internet, followed your instructions to modem mode & signed in but donot know what to do after that, can you help?  Thanks

Hi Clare,

Thanks for trying that. I think that Josh_RW wanted to see the results of a speed test.

If you click on this link it will direct you to speedtest.net, just click on Begin Test (it will select a default server for you).

Once your Ping and downstream/upstream speeds have been calculated click on the Share this Result tab, click on Forum then the Copy button and paste into your post.

If you could do 2 of those, one with modem mode enabled on the Hub and the other with the Hub in router mode, we could compare the two.

It seems our internet is very disrupted between 5pm onwards for several hours mainly.  These tests were taken @ 18:20 but at 1700hrs it was very bad, please can you offer some advice with what to do about this?  Many thanks
