Slow download/upload speeds

I am currently experiencing issues with download and upload speed. I like to play games and socialise online in party chats which is proving to be tough at the moment. The problems that the slow download and upload speed is causing is random server freezes on games as well as my voice in party chat being cut out at regular intervals.

Hopefully this one image is big enough that you can make out the details, if not I will upload them individually instead of a merged image like this.

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

Hi Robert1999123,

Thanks for the post! I am sorry to hear about your issues with slow speeds, I apologise for any inconvenience.

I've run a few checks on your connection and I can see that all of your downstream power levels are too low and will require an engineer to attend and resolve this for you.

I will send you a PM (purple envelope at the top) detailing what's required in order to proceed with making the booking. Please respond to me there and I'll get this sorted for you.

Take care,

Thanks,

Adam.

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

You will need to do individually Smiley Tongue Or just mask out the MAC addressing / anything that identifies you.

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

Actually, looking at the rejected image, your downstream power levels are VERY low. You will need an engineer to come sort that out.

Do you have any attunators attached to your coaxial cable going into the back of the superhub?

Have flagged for you to get an engineer booked

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

Oh, I feel silly for not removing my MAC address especially considering my expertise in this field but thanks for pointing it out. I'm very sure that I removed all MAC addresses in these new ones but I wouldn't be surprised if I missed one which I really hope I don't. I checked my router and I believe I have an attunator on that cable.

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

I am also experiencing very slow download speed, my upload speeds seem to be greater than my download which I know shouldn't happen.

I live in Brighton could you check the connection here to please because like Robert1999123 said, I like to game and come September I will be a uni student and the slow internet is very frustrating.

Many Thanks

Craig

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

Hi, I live in Brighton and I'm also getting the same issues as Robert1999123. my upload speed seems to be greater than my download speed, however, both are very low (under 10mbps) Is there any way someone can come and look at this?

Many thanks

Craig

Re: Slow download/upload speeds

Hello parkie2301,

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the Community Smiley Very Happy

Sorry to hear about the slow speeds you're experiencing at the moment, I know it's frustrating. I've just taken a look and everything looks normal with your equipment right now. Can I ask you to perform some speed tests with your Hub in Modem Mode and post back to us with your results.

Apologies again for this,

Take care.
