Slow browsing, websites timing out

Hi,


For a couple of days now all my pc's / devices are experiencing website timeout issues and generally very slow browsing. Speedtests all come back OK, it  only seems to be affecting website browsing. I'm based in Stafford.

Even posting this was a challenge because i kept getting " This site can’t be reached. community.virginmedia.com took too long to respond"

I've done all the usual things like reset the superhub etc but it's not helping.

Any help appreciated.

Also in Stafford and getting exactly the same issue.

Also in Stafford - ST17 and getting exactly the same problem. Speedtest reports my speed as 140Mbps, but it took me three attempts to load this website.

Also in Stafford - ST17 and getting exactly the same problem. Speedtest reports my speed as 140Mbps, but it took me three attempts to load this website.

It's worth giving VM a call. More people to report it the better.

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your connection.

 

I can't see any issues with the network in your area but I can see an issue with your power levels that is likely causing problems. I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can arrange for a technician to sort this out for you.

Any chance you can check my power levels usaly Heather checks them my hub is play up please josh

Thanks for posting, sorry to hear you're having trouble too.

 

I've run a diagnostic on your account and everything is looking great at the moment. Levels are all within spec and no network faults. Are you still experiencing issues?
