Slow Speed 200meg down to 10meg

Over the last month I have been getting 10-12 megabit download single threaded and 20-25ish on multithreaded.. if I am lucky. Upload is fine at ~12 megabit. 

Spoken to Virgin last week and was told it would be fixed in a few days as there was an issue, no change 5 days on. Was getting near to the full 200 megabit 4 weeks ago. They credited me £4.. no joke.

My Broadband Speed Test

I am in the KT22 area, anyone got any ideas, think I will probably cancel at this rate

I had the same issue on vivid 200. I get 210 in the morning and 2 - 5 in the evening. Complained, was told there was an upgrade and got credit from date of first complaint.

Not one that springs to mind as overutilisation but it sounds like it...

Chuck up a BQM

 HERE

 Run it for say 24 hrs, and post the result.

 Dont forget youll need to make sure your super hub is configured to reply to ICMP echo requests...

 From that we can give you a good idea if it is or not ahead of staff confirming  it. But bluntly if you've had a service credit and especially if you have been issued an F number, its overutilisation..

Go the BQM route. If its overutilisation Id expect your "lowest" speeds to be lower (believe it or not), and actually the "highest" to be higher, especially as you have a Sam Knows box.

Okay you've something else wrong with the connection as well as overutilisation. You are seeing frequent packet loss throughout teh day.

Can you post your power levels from the HUB, screencaps if possible.

Go to your Superhub Log in screen

Do NOT log in.

Little button top right.....


Can you post Upstream, Downstream and Network logs.
