Slow Broadband evenings area 12

My broadband has been slow or very slow in the evenings since the price was raised just before Xmas, I am paying for 70Mbps and only get that speed in the mornings, I wonder if virgin could recommend a reliable broadband provider or reduce my monthly bill and return the money I have spent on a service I no longer receive. I have not been able to contact them due to family problems, so have had to make do with the slower speed for 2 months now.
