I've noticed recently and also after seeing a few posts in this forum and on thinkbroadband there seems to be a major routing issue that surfaces in the evenings after 5pm . all London connections slow to a crawl and latency increases .
At first i thought this issue maybe due to a recent engineer visit that i had to install 2 x v6 box upgrades ( engineer told me he needed to go and adjust my connection in the street cabinet , before he did this the internet worked with no issue at all )
I live in a new build area in Northampton and after speaking to a VM 2nd level tech last night he advised me that there is only 245 houses on my node and the cable is not over utilized at all , in fact he advised it is a surprisingly quiet node .
Is anyone else noticing a dramatic speed slow down in the evenings ?
I appreciate that there might be a wider network backhaul congestion issue here rather than a more local vm network issue to me but surely VM should be picking up on this and resolving ?
It all works absolutely fine during the day full speeds no issue 220 down / 22 up . So i have no issue with that , but it is frustrating that this is now happening in the evenings .
Please can someone advise also if the below power levels look ok ? im running a superhub 3 in modem mode to a draytek 2925 . I have also tried out of modem mode and same issue.
