Re: Rubbish

Hello Stu_bro,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing slow connection speeds, I know this is inconvenient. I've checked your connection and I'm sorry to report that we do have a fault in your area that is responsible for reducing the speeds during peak time hours. The fault ref if: F003839144 and it's currently due for review on the 5th April. We will need to undertake network upgrades to fix this.

Please keep in touch with us and bump this thread on or after the review date.

Take care.

Re: Rubbish

Review really?

The fault was supposed to be fixed by 6 Feb but that never happened my 100 mb fibre connection currently topped out at 4 Mbs. Still rubbish engineer gave me a new hub no change so I'm looking to change providers.

Re: Rubbish

All dates are review dates. Even the dates given by phone staffs scripts as 'fix' dates are nothing more than review dates.

If VM are 100% at fault, utilisation (over subscribing) is their problem, then make a formal complaint with VM, after 8 weeks if its not resolved take it to CISAS, follow my simple guide to make it easier.

You can, if you provide enough evidence to CISAS you can get up to, if not more than 50% of your BB costs.

Hit them in their pocket not yours.

Also, TBH, the more that complain paints a picture to CISAS, and in turn OFCOM might get involved, it might be a small percentage, but its a big enough percentage to make heads turn.

Don't procrastinate, go and do it.

Good luck

Regards
