Having just called Virgin Media to ask about why I am getting 2MB/s when I'm paying for 50MB/s, they informed me that I am paying for UP TO 50MB/s...
Any chance anyone here can help me? They claim that it is during peak times, however I am experiencing slow internet all day, every day. Am I stuck with this for the next 12 months?

Are you experiencing the slow speeds on a wired or wireless connection?
If wireless try wired directly to the hub by ethernet cable.
