Recent upgrade to 70mps

Hi had recent upgrade to 70mps but internet still not reaching old 40mps think best i'be had on a speed test was around 33mps I know it says upto but it's not even getting half way anyone else having this problem 😬

Is that via a wired or wireless connection, if wireless try to retest via a wired connection as that will offer a truer result

Was you always getting the speed you expected before? Or did it have times it wasn't as fast as you expected?

That was with wireless connection just tried a wired connection and got 75mps thanks never thought of trying it must be router slowing thinks down

It was up and down before upgrade cheers

Wireless is wireless. 40Mbs is a common wireless bottleneck.


If you want stability/throughput you will need to wire. If you want convienience of wireless you will need to (potentially, but often the case) sacrifice both.
