Ping Issues WV13

For the past 10 months there has been a utilization issue in my area which i was told was causing my ping issues and fluctuating internet speeds. Recently i received a message on here saying that the fault in my area had been fixed but my connection is still the same.

I have had 4 techs out and had my router swapped about 4 times over the last 10 months and i am 100% certain the issue does not lie at my house/end.

My broadband package is vivid 200 but the speed constantly fluctuates and always get a different reading every time i do speed tests and i currently have a superhub 3.

I currently can't do a ping test as it says it is blocked via firewall even though it shouldn't be 

I mainly use my connection for gaming so as you can imagine this has become an annoying experience for me.

Nothing wrong on your traceroute but your BQM is showing latency going haywire everytime the connection is in use. If its overutilisation, it should do that during peak hours but revert to a normal trace off peak. I suspect there may be something else amiss.

What are the power levels like from your router status screen?

This has been going on since December last year so 11 months i have been suffering this Smiley Sad fair enough they knock a few quid of your bill but id rather have my connection working.

Power levels are fine. Having a closer look at your BQM, your latency is spiking higher OFF peak than on, most of the time.

Have you anything running on the network that would saturate upstream? P2P ? streaming TO twitch (not from) or similair? Large backups to the cloud?

In an ideal world on a VM connection you would see steady green, steadyish blue and some yellow spiking. 

Your second graph DOES look like overutilisation, unlike the first.

Ill pass it to staff to get some metrics run their end.

Phoned them up yesterday they said they couldn't understand why i had received a message on here saying the fault was fixed as it is still on going and will not be fixed until the 23rd of November at 10:30 am.

so i guess that explains why my graph was still looking weird so i guess i just have to wait till then and take it from there.

I've checked out the account and the network fault has been closed down as completed. I've also run a diagnostic on your equipment and all the levels are showing great at the moment. Are you still experiencing latency issues?
