Paying for 200Mbs, getting 1 Mbps......

I'm lucky if I get more than 1Mbps between 6pm and 11pm. I'm in area 20 and got a refund of 12 quid last month because of this.

It's worse than ever - I've posted my Upstream/downstream data in the hope that someone can help.

Is it me or Virgin and what can I do?

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks.

Re: Paying for 200Mbs, getting 1 Mbps......

Hi active851,

Welcome to the Community!

Really sorry to hear you're experiencing speed issues.

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area affecting speeds at peak times - Ref.(F004213224). Our technicians are working to get this resolved and have set a review date of 24th May 2017.

I'm really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

All the best

Josh

Re: Paying for 200Mbs, getting 1 Mbps......

Thanks for responding but when is there likely to be a realistic fix and not just a rolling review date?

I have spoken to one of your call centre staff and the fault - F004213224 has been open for over a year now.

I then asked for my credit to be backdated as the fault has been around for at least 12 months and I've been affected since at least then

Very frustrated now!
