Paying for 200 getting 104

Hi

I pay for a speed of 200 and have regularly achieved about 156 -160 since the upgrade.

I have the Super Hub router I was given a few years ago.

Since returning from holiday last weekend I can't achieve any more than 104. Have checked everything as suggested, although nothing has changed between going away and returning home.

Please help!

Hi

My upload speed is 5.9 Mbps. Not sure what it should be?

I know, everything seems to have halved! Was fine two weeks ago?

Re: Paying for 200 getting 104

Via a wired connection with no restrictions you should be on 200down/12up.
Could you have more subscribers using 200Mb service in your area?
[My 200Mb service is currently ticking over @85Mb download since 11.00 this morning]

Re: Paying for 200 getting 104

I think I'll have to phone Virgin to find out what's happening. My service seems to have gone from the 200 package to the 100 maybe?

Re: Paying for 200 getting 104

If the upload Is 6Mbs then the download speeds you quoted seem like 100Mbs package.

If you go to 192.168.0.1 in your browser, DONT LOG IN, instead hit the router status button (top right), next menu go to operation config and copy and paste the data from there.

Re: Paying for 200 getting 104

Thanks for the help so far.

I've contacted Virgin and they have reset my device. Need to test it in half an hour. Will let you know!

You can do what I posted above to show what speed you are provisioned for whenever.
