Packet loss, reoccurring problem!

 I've been suffering packet loss over the last few weeks which has been impacting on gaming & listening to my sonos system. Any ideas of the cause and when it will be rectified?

Hi johnthecyclist, 

Thanks for letting us know about your troubles with packet loss, I apologise for any inconvenience.

I have tested things from here and I can see that your area cable's SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) levels are too low and our engineers are currently working to resolve this.

The reference number for this is F005063969 and is currently scheduled to be reviewed around 15/02/17. Should you require any further updates on this issue then post back here closer to the date and we'll gladly take a look and provide any news we can!

Has the fault been fixed, as there seems to be high utilisation going on? Virgin media broadband seems to going rapidly downhill.

Thanks for getting back to us and apologies you are still having an issue with your connection.

 

From checking this thread > BQM Graphs showing increased latency, there was an issue with high latency, however it has now been resolved.

 

If you are still having issues, can you re-post your BQM graph for me please?
