Packet Loss

I seem to be posting on here at least once a month with constant packet loss. An engineer comes out and either replaces my router or adds/ changes adapters on the back to change my levels. It runs perfectly for a couple of weeks and BAM the issues return.

Re: Packet Loss

Hi djwilliams100,

Thanks for letting me know about your issues with packet loss, I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have tested things from here and I can't see anything out of the ordinary no errors or time outs inside the Hubs logs and all of your power levels are within the preferred ranges.

Are you still having these issues? If so, please respond to me here with a recent copy of your BQM graph and Hubs logs as well for me to compare with the data we have here.

Also, when do you notice the packet loss, all times of day or just specific ones?

Speak soon,

Thanks,

Adam.

Don't worry about the 'hump' and packet loss displayed on the graph last night, it affected all Virgin Media connections and was down to a routing issue between VM and ThinkBroadband.
