Over utilisation ws4 area

Been ou since December 2014 and it's only getting worse, lucky to get 5mb on a 50mb connection (had 200mb but wasn't willing to pay for it when I was getting no where near), streaming services crash/time out, downloading anything is dead slow and im getting a bit fed up.

Will this ever be fixed, what can be done to alleviate the problem in the short term?

Re: Over utilisation ws4 area

They have a roughly 1 week response time from your last post on the forum, if you need an immediate response you have to go through 150.

Short answer that can be given however is:

Short term: nothing, you have to wait for the fix or move supplier
Long term: when is your next review date?

Re: Over utilisation ws4 area

Hi GeneralMatrix

Thanks for taking the time to post back here.

My apologies that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.

I can see the high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing your slow speeds. The reference number is F003433837 and with a review date of 28th September. I understand how frustrating this is due to the length of time.

One of my colleagues will be in touch shortly with more information in regards to this issue.

Regards

Sam

Re: Over utilisation ws4 area

Hi, when I called last week I was told it was going to be fixed on 14th September, now you are saying it's just up for review on 28th September? How many times since being raised back in December 2014 has this been put back? What are my options for leaving as im not (nor have I been) receiving the service I've signed up for?

Re: Over utilisation ws4 area

Never listen to a date phone staff give you as a 'fix date'. It is just their scripts saying that. Its just a review date.

Re: Over utilisation ws4 area

Hey GeneralMatrix,

Thanks for getting back to us, hope you're well Smiley Happy

Really sorry to hear that you're considering leaving us, however, this is understandable due to the on-going fault in your area.

I'm sorry to report that the next review comes on the 23/11, until then we won't know what's happening in the way of a resolution.

Sincere apologies for the inconvenience,

Take care.

Re: Over utilisation ws4 area

So it's just been pushed back again? And will the next review be pushed back too? It's not your fault obviously Heather but this sort of thing is just taking customers for mugs, how can this fault be outstanding for two years? It's not fair, do VM simply not have the capital to fix all these OU issues, why are they still taking people on in OU areas?
