Re: Over Utilisation, URMSTON, M41 - area 20

Hi eric777m,

Thanks for posting. I'm really sorry for the connection fault experienced.

I've responded to your separate thread regarding this as there does appear to be a high demand for our service in your area at the moment.

Speak soon,

Nat_J

Sorry to hear that you're also having some trouble with your service Deejay20vt,

I'd like to have a look at everything from this end for you and advise further but I'm unable to locate your account details at the moment.

Could you send me the following information via private message if possible for me to investigate?:

  • Name of the account holder
  • Home address

Catch you in a bit,

Nat_J

Re: Over Utilisation, URMSTON, M41 - area 20

Already been done, see previous posts with Samantha - reference number is F004193000 with review date of 24th May and now on some token rolling discount (if you can call it that!)

FYI - I've seen this issue discussed elsewhere now on a number of the local community chat groups...to say some contributers are damning about your BB service is an understatement!!!

In short, if were not sorted by the end of May, which conveniently coincides with my tv/phone/bb contract package renewal Im off...as they say... "believe in better"

Re: Over Utilisation, URMSTON, M41 - area 20

Hi, Deejay20vt

How long has it been this bad for you with VM in Urmston?

The last time I was with VM it was fine but that was over 10 years ago also it looks like Vm are over selling the service just for the money.

Cheers Eric

Re: Over Utilisation, URMSTON, M41 - area 20

Well,  It's still bad.  Attached is a shot of network speed test.  Includes a number of entries in the history with connections being hard wired to my router and across wifi that is able to handle 300Mbit/s, so that's not the bottleneck!

God bless VM.  Paying for 200MBit/s and getting about 6% of that. Maybe if we only had to pay them 6%.  Appauling.  Got 89MBit/s one night back in February. If memory serves me right, that was about 1AM on a weekday morning.

Still atrocious service here i got an amazing speed of 0.08mps on 2nd April i have been informed that the review is now in June. Yet they still expect £240 to cancel.
And complaints get ignored And still expect the £53 a month off us think I'll get in touch with watchdog.
