My first post, but VM customer for 18 years (... yes I know).
I'm on Vivid 150 in Area 24 and I am not clear what speed I should be getting. I would have thought I could get a reliable 30Mbps stream anytime of day. It seems I only get around 10Mbps from the afternoon onwards.
What should I get? Just really frustrated... Some details
Measurement lab.net reports the same as I see and measure (london server): UPLOAD SPEED: 1.86 Mb/s DOWNLOAD SPEED: 9.64 Mb/s Network latency: 13 msec round trip time Jitter: 42 MSc
Speedtest to Luton and to London says "it's all good" (does it ever says anything different ) Luton/Virgin server: Ping: 27mS Download:108 Mb/s Upload: 10 Mb/S London/Virgin server: Ping: 13mS Download:130 Mb/s Upload: 10 Mb/S
PS: I have been through all the router.network checking, read the background etc...
I've taken a look into this and the upstream power levels are too high at +54 dBmV. For this I would like to arrange an engineer appointment to adjust these for you and have sent you a PM (purple envelope icon, right corner) with some details for you to confirm please.
Also there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing slow speeds. The reference number is F005381990 and has a review date of 20th September.
Hope you do not mind me popping in as you mentioned slow single threaded downloads to Sam. I am sorry but we are aware of this issue with the type of Motrola CMTS that you are on, this will normally be resolved with the area high traffic remedial work F005381990 current review date of 20 SEP 2017.
