New customer slow internet

Had virgin 200mb fibre for a week. Everyday I run wired speed tests and it's always around 40-60mbs

My package says 200

Advice please

Great to hear that you've recently joined us!

Please accept my apologies for the slow speeds you're experiencing at the minute. Are you testing your wireless or your hard-wired connection? Ideally we would like to see results tested from an Ethernet connection so we can establish if there's any issues with your main connection.

Please get back to us so we can continue to investigate.

Tested today using a wired connection. Max download was 60mb/s and upload 11mb/s

Even as a brand new customer you still suffer from the same network over abuse as the rest of us.
the forums are awash with people who have 50/100/152/200/300mb connections who can barley get 1mb of an evening.

no amount of enginner visits / modem resets / wireless/wired messing about is going to make any difference.
Area 21 SW16 crap speeds for 12+ Months... current fault F004332018, Complaint COM101113771 Ignored, VM code of conduct Ignored... Avoid VM at all costs

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area affecting speeds at peak times - Ref.(F004889420). Our technicians are working to get this resolved and have set a review date of 3rd May 2017.
