New customer, awful upload speeds

Joined Virgin just 2 wks ago, broadband upload speed reduced to almost zero in last 2 days meaning Internet and mail are virtually unusable.  Apparently major server issue in area.  Postcode is EN7, area code 24.  Called customer service and fix date is 5 Dec!!!  Anyone else with same problem.  Very bad start to my Virgin experience.

My apologies that you are having issues with your upload speeds.

 

Looking at your connection, the fault you mentioned has been closed down as resolved and your line is showing as fine.

 

Has there been an improvement with the speeds at all?
