Need To reset SuperHub2 everyday to get full speed

Good Morning,

Ive had to resort to unplugging my Superhub2 every morning to get anything near the proper speeds im paying for. Did a speedtest before reset and was only getting 2.03mbps this morning (normally get about 35-50mbps), after reset im back upto 190.08mbps (should be around 220mbps).

Ive tried the tech support yesterday and they did something at the other end that gave me proper speeds till about 4pm when it dropped again back to about 98mbps, since im paying for the high end package its becoming quite annoying only getting such poor service when im around and online.

Checked the router status and ive got alot of 84020200 Lost MDD Timeout errors not sure if thats a problem/cause,

Any help would be appreciated.

PC is connected directly into the SuperHub2.

Thanks, Richard.

Re: Need To reset SuperHub2 everyday to get full speed

Hi silentsorrow,

Thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear about your issues with needing to reset your Super Hub everyday to get full speeds, I apologise for any inconvenience.

I have tested the connection from this side and I couldn't detect anything out of the ordinary, no errors or time outs inside the Hubs logs and all of your power levels are within the preferred ranges.

Are you still having these issues? If so, when do they occur all times of day or just specific times?

Is there any noticeable change to the Hubs light sequence when these issues occur?

Please try a wired speed test with the Hub running in modem mode and post the results here for us to see.

Take care,

Thanks,

Adam.

Re: Need To reset SuperHub2 everyday to get full speed

Hi Adam,

Ive been resetting every morning as common practice, but since monday i havent had time. Weirdly its not had any drops on speed and the router logs are as follows

27/03/2017 07:30:19 GMT27/03/2017 07:30:19 GMTWarning (5)90000200CSFR Detect - Expired Content Submitted ; LAN Interface

as you can see ive had no faults since then.

The speed loss normally happens over night sometime so in the morning when i first boot up i have awful speeds until i reset router, it then drops down at 4pm onwards most days except sunday when its most of the day to around 40-90mbps.

In Modem mode the Speed is Ping 13 Download 221.07 Upload 12.04

In Router Mode the speed is Ping 9 Download 220.78 Upload 12.31

Re: Need To reset SuperHub2 everyday to get full speed

Hello again Silentsorrow,

Thanks for the update Smiley Happy

So just so I'm understanding, your connection performs better if you don't do regular reboots?

How has your connection been over the weekend?

Catch you soon,

Take care.

Re: Need To reset SuperHub2 everyday to get full speed

Their have been posts about this issue and nothing is for sure why...My guess is the way the hubs are build which is a 5 port switch with one port uplinking to the SoC that acks as router mode or modem mode and its the uplinking that drops to 100Mb when you are connected by 1Gb.
