Nearly a month to wait for engineer to install Broandband !

I contacted virgin broadband team to move my services to new home and they told me the next available date to install my services is 8 december 2016 , is it acceptable to wait so long ? What should i do really because to wait such a long time without internet is kind a crappy for everyone in a house !

How long ago did you tell them?
How long have you known you are moving?



Would of thought normally you could line these things up nicely so you get into new house with minimum downtime.

Today in a morning i told them , i knew i'm goin to move 3 months ago but the new Land lord wasn't sure if they will finish the house on time . 

I know it's my fault to say so late , but the main reason why i'm asking is it normal to wait so long ?

I’m so sorry to hear about the delay on your installation. I have had a check on your account and I can’t find an appointment slot closer to this side of November. 

 

This time of year is quite busy, everyone is getting prepared for Christmas and the great Christmas telly!

 

You could always give us a call in, it’s always possible that a cancellation may pop up in your area.
