My speed upgrade is due in december. Its January...

Hello,

Can a moderator look into my account and find out whats happening with the free speed upgrade? Currently when i log in its saying

"Hold on tight. Your speed boost is on the way…

Your speed upgrade will be ready to take your connection from up to 152Mbps to up to 200Mbps. It's all thanks to DOCSIS® - the magic in our cables. Look out for it between December 2016 and December 2016"

Is it happening or not?

Looks like the area still requires the completion of upgrade work before any speed boost becomes available.

As shafreya notes eligibility will also be dependent on any account change or re-contract that may have occurred since the free upgrade was announced, you can check this with our customer service team on 150/0345 454 1111.

You've become ineligible for the free speed boost then.


The usual suspects are:

Changing your package in any way since November 2015
Taking any discounts since November 2015

i havent whatsoever changed my package.

and my areas utilisation fault was said it was meant to be fixed 4 years ago.

Thanks for the news ralph.

I signed up to a new contract in december to receive a new hub 3 which was i told would be needed to receive the free speed upgrade as i was only on hub 1. I was not told a new contract would stop me receiving a free speed upgrade.

It would be bitterly ironic that asking for the equipment i needed to receive vivid 200 would in fact stop me from receiving vivid 200....
