Just ha a hub 3 installed...

Who's bright idea was it to need capitals and numbers for the routers login page then show the password in plain text when you type it in????

The guy that did the css for the pages needs a smack around the head.

The table cell that shows the mac address in connected devies isn't big enough to show the mac on one line.

.content-container {
    left: 250px;
    padding-left: 30px;
    position: absolute;
    width: 700px;
}
700p isn't big enough, at least 740px fixes it.

Can't click onto password field when logging in for about 10-15 seconds.

Why start DHCP at 192.168.0.10???

Took me a while to figure out why I couln't add a device using 192.168.0.5 when using old hub1

It's on Software version : 9.1.88J5 at the moment, I'm hoping there is an update.

Re: Just ha a hub 3 installed...

Just found out why it takes so long to be able to enter a password.
It's querying the modem to get the modems status.

<SNIP>
output too big to post

That is insane. There are quite a few more queries.

I only want to log in, why do that everytime just in case someone clicks Check router status?

Re: Just ha a hub 3 installed...

There is a new Firmware rolling out area by area to fix a few bugs and not fix a lot of bugs.

You will be able to enter your password instantly after that and will notice some GUI changes.

I advise you unplug it for 5mins then power it back up and you may get the Firmware or force update by the pinhole in rear (hold for about 30secs to be sure). like I did.

Re: Just ha a hub 3 installed...

I just unplugged power and plugged right back in.

Was getting a little bit worried, it was updating for around 20 minutes.

Now it's just stuck on page is loading after logging in.

Looking like I'll have to restart it again.

Wish I'd kept the old hub now.

Re: Just ha a hub 3 installed...

Finally got into the modems pages.

Closing the browser didn't help.

I had to use ctrl+f5 to force it to reload everything.

It must have been using a cached file it didn't like.

**bleep**, I have to do ctrl+f5 for every different page.

It has updated though:

Software version : 9.1.116V

Seems like I've sorted the cached files.

In firefox: menu ->history ->show all history ->search for 192.168.0.1 ->right click, forget site

Re: Just ha a hub 3 installed...

I used Pinhole method so it worked as its a total update/factory reset (loose any settings you changed obv) but only as my area must have been about ready to get the update and no issues caching using IE11 or Edge.

Do not try and rename all the devices in main page or it mixes them up on refresh and your mobile appears on Ethernet and vice versa.

Re: Just ha a hub 3 installed...

Strange about the cached stuff, I had the same problem with Firefox and Chrome.

Just tried to rename two devices that only showed mac address (after backup of settings) and so far it seems fine.
