Internet speeds not meeting purchased speeds

Hey,

We're not meeting the speeds we've bought (80Mbps), We have tried restarting our router, etc. But the speeds just don't improve. Since we upgraded to faster speeds, it has gone downhill and it's really quite annoying as I personally download a lot and play games. It just takes many hours instead of at least an hour for big game files.

Re: Internet speeds not meeting purchased speeds

What do you get wired? No company will entertain wireless speeds to show a problem.

Re: Internet speeds not meeting purchased speeds

Hi RhysL,

Welcome to the Community!

Really sorry to hear you're experiencing speed issues.

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area affecting speeds at peak times - Ref.(F004272896). Our technicians are working to get this resolved and have set a review date of 5th April 2017.

I've also picked up an issue with your Downstream Power levels that will need to be adjusted by a technician. I've sent you a private message (purple envelope at the top right of your screen) so I can arrange an appointment.

Speak soon Smiley Very Happy

Josh
