High latency and poor speeds PO15 6 area - ongoing problem.

Hi,

This issue seems to raise it's head every so often, is particularly bad this time making connection almost unusable - more than likely going to leave to an FTTC type connection.

Previously the fault was traced back to Cosham exchange, the below posted MTR looks to show the same Cosham exchange at fault.

Another reason I am looking to move supplier is the price I am paying now I should be on your 200mbps package and would still have change!  I am on a 60mbps with 3mbps upload package with poor stable performance and feel ripped off and annoyed that VM don't look after their long term customers.

 

Anyway, last ditch attempt to fix this,

Ping to google, direct cable feed to router with no other traffic.

Thanks for taking the time to post on the community. It's nice to have you back here.

 

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with high latency and slow broadband speeds.

 

Looking at your connection, I am unable to see any apparent issues on the network that would cause these issues for you. There are no faults reported and the traffic on the network is running stable.

 

It may be worth giving us a ring on either 150 free from a Virgin Media landline or 03454 454 1111 to upgrade your Ambit 300 to one of our Super Hub's. As you will benefit from the extra downstream and upstream channels.
