Due to the current one week waiting time for a reply from VM staff, I'll post this now, and they should pick up on it by my review date.
Well, it's been six months since the last review, and my connection is still dire at peak times. I was told via PM that some work would be carried out in Q2 of this year. I guess that the duct tape and baling twine just didn't do the job. Meanwhile, VM are happily selling their "Super Fast" connection to anyone with a bank account.
So VM, what's the state of play? Are there any works showing up on your screen? Is there an end in sight for good ol' F003443743, or should I buy it a school uniform for it's next review date?
(Watch out lads, Pete's on a roll. ) I take it all back, I've just seen that Usain Bolt feller running down my street, with a screwdriver and a pair of wire strippers. Why he feels the need to do his "Pose" thing at every green cabinet is beyond me.
So, my last post wasn't worthy of a reply from VM then?
I note on my account page that the long awaited free speed boost is due next month (Between Feb' '17 and Feb' '17.), yet peak time speeds are still in single digits. Is there any work planned between now and the speed boost, or will the network take another hammering (Equivalent to taking on scores of new customers.) ? I think that I can guess what the answer will be. How about VM putting some cards on the table, rather than playing them close to their collective chests.
Not much more we can tell you beyond confirming that the current estimate fix date is April sorry, (these upgrades will need to be completed before any speed boost is implemented), as soon as networks reveal anything more we'll be in touch.
