Getting tired of my internet

Every day, my internet spikes and it makes gaming enjoyable.

I typed the command "ping google.com -t" and got this result

This shows my ping fluctuates like mad which especially for gaming is terrible.

Yes, I am using an ethernet cable, and my download/upload speed are fine. MY ping is the problem, it is really inconsistent.

https://gyazo.com/83fc522ba565220cd804d1dcc8854a65 The number shows the ping jitter ( how much it fluctuates) "8" means my ping is either above or below the ping you see

Quite frankly I am getting very annoyed, how my internet is unstable and inconsistent. It only effects gaming, which means my parents really don't care much, as their activities don't get influenced by this problem. Point me in the right direction, so this problem can permanently, permanently be fixed.

Re: Getting tired of my internet

take a time when no one else is using the connection for like 10 minutes.

Bang the HUB into modem mode. Make sure your cable is attached to the Ethernet port nearest the coax connector.

Re test

Post the jitter

Re: Getting tired of my internet

Sorry, you're going to have to tell me what a Coax connector is

Re: Getting tired of my internet

The coax is the cable from outside into your superhub.

In modem mode the port closest to the coax cable is the one that works.
