I spoke to a technician online last night who took over my pc and who checked the stats using the same link saying everything looked fine??? Im bloody confused for its clearly not fine. Im also unable to check the stats on my pc aas Im getting the same refuse to connect bullcrap

Red i'm from same area and the engineer told me this, He explained the UBR is over utilized because they have added more areas around us (mullusk, brambles) so they need to upgrade the CMTS, They said they have been told it should be fixed by the 2nd week in May

I received a text msg this morning from VM telling me the problem had been resolved. Unfortunately it is still the same, there has been no change in download speeds since I first reported the problem, still hitting around 5/6mb. The last few days I have not seen any difference, infact streaming services like iplayer and netflix have become almost impossible to watch.

Did you subscribe to a new contract when you changed over to 200mb? I hope not because you'll have to pay Virgin compensation if you try and cancel, which is disgraceful considering they mis-sold you the higher package in an *oversubscribed area (*Virgin have confirmed this to me).

I've got to ring them today to provide my 30 day cancellation notice, which I believe is not the easiest thing to do!

Yes I was getting 70mb before the problem started, the 2nd time I rang them they told me I should change to the vivid gamer 200mb deal as it would fix my problem and their would be no capping, they said if I stuck with the 70mb they could not guarantee that I would not be capped the following months so I went ahead and got it I also think its an 18mth contract too Smiley Sad after the problem wasnt solved with the new suberhub3 activated I phoned again and was told that the guy I previously spoke to was in big trouble because he told me I was being charged 49.99 installation fee as I had queried that charge seeing as though no engineer called as we did it ourselves, he should have been in trouble for telling us to take a out the new deal which cost more but no nothing was mentioned about that. yeah they totally mis-sold and mislead me down the garden path. I, paying almost £60 a month its a joke.
