Failed Upgrade :(

Well on Black Friday, 25th Nov, VM took the Network (S65 2xx) down to "perform upgrade work", to my surprise after THREE YEARS it actually looked like VM had fixed the Network and banished the Over Utilisation, for the next week I was getting http://beta.speedtest.net/result/5827766017 24/7, sadly by Sunday 4th Dec it was back down to http://beta.speedtest.net/result/5852108849 so it looks like back to business as usual Smiley Sad

Re: Failed Upgrade :(

Well last few days it has been around 75Mbps (on and off peak), today off peak we're at <=65Mbps, slowly but surely returning to NORMAL Smiley Sad

Re: Failed Upgrade :(

Honestly looks like something else happened then. Sat on the constant 75Mbs with no peak dips at all makes my head wonder if you also had a software update that's limiting your connection / cable failed or something.

If OU was still present I would expect to see the dips still.

Re: Failed Upgrade :(

My mate is also affected though not to the same degree, I think so far he has only dropped to about 160Mbps, still S65 2 area but 1/4mile+ away.

My power levels look fine to me?

Re: Failed Upgrade :(

Sorted, I did a Speedtest on my phone and got 180Mbps so started looking for reasons, would seem I updated the Killer Network driver and the Advanced Stream Detect was enabled, disabled that and touch wood it seems OK again.
