Sounds like over utilization which I'm sure you've been told before. Fixes for this take 1-2years normally.

From other forum posts it was said to be December and yes I'm in a student area. I got the broadband quite early so it's lower cost than the average package but it's now obviously oversubscribed and i screwed myself by not cancelling when they increased the bills. Now I'm stuck with really bad net (so is everyone else in the area on VM) and we're all overpaying for high latency, <5mb speeds. I live in a house where up to 6 people can be online at once so it's pretty much equivalent to 56k at evening times.
I'm sorry to read that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.
I've checked the high peak time traffic fault in your area and there has been work completed which seen you move cables. The data has not updated this side as of yet, however we can check this in a few days.
