F003946370 sorted ?

I had a PM sent on the 30/11/16 saying F003946370 has been resolved and I should see an improvement in speed.

This is a speed test taken at 19.25 on the 2/12/16, and defiantly not getting anywhere near 200Mbits

This was taken using Cat 5e cable directly into Router and router set on Modem mode only.

during the day I get around 160Mbps, so there is still a utilisation issue in the area.

Re: F003946370 sorted ?

my partner had this too, had a problem for 18 months and not resolved and they claimed it is, getting 12mb on an evening on a 152 connection...
I think they have just decided to close all faults down and see who will still complain, that way they dont have to give credits

Re: F003946370 sorted ?

Hey HUGO_EFFO,

Thanks for getting in touch, hope you're well Smiley Happy

Sorry to see that you're still getting slow speeds. I've checked your account and I can see that an area fault was opened in Sept. The ref is: F004739807 and it's due for review on the 11th Jan.

Would you please post back on or after the review date for an update.

Thanks for your continued patience,

Take care.

Re: F003946370 sorted ?

@Heather_J @ModTeam

Can you see what works (if any) were done to cause the previous fault to be marked as complete and closed?

As this isn't the first thread of its kind to pop up where the customer is receiving a message saying the issue is fixed, when it's just being relogged as a new fault number. Seems to be a break in the system flagging as fixed when it's clearly not.

Re: F003946370 sorted ?

Hey both,

Thanks for flagging this Smiley Happy

I can see that the initial fault was closed on the 17th Oct after testing from the outage team, that's literally all the info I've got off the ticket. The current ticket was opened on the 9th Sept, so there was an overlap and I'm not 100% sure why one ticket was closed and then replaced, this isn't explained on the notes.

I'll have a bit of a dig around and see if I can get anymore info on this.

Thanks again,

Take care.
