have been with virgin just over a month now (100 mbs) and its always erratic, speed tests say its fast but laptop etc prove otherwise, very annoying, and the signal strength around the house is bloody rubbish compared to my previous supplier Talk Talk

Sorry to hear about your intermittent connection. When I've looked today, you appear to be up and running so I do hope the intermittency has settled. As for the speeds, are you testing your wireless or hard-wired speeds?
