Download speed fluctuating.

Hello,

Please could you investigate my internet download speed issue that has been going on for the past couple months.

Tested both wired and wireless - results come back the same.

Re: Download speed fluctuating.

Hi Andyt,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

Sorry to hear about the slow speeds you're experiencing, I know it's frustrating. I've just taken a look and tested the network in your area and I'm sorry to confirm that we have a fault on-going at the moment. The fault ref is: F004332350 and it's due for review on the 10th Jan. While this fault is on-going you might notice your speed is reduced, especially during peak time hours.

Please accept my apologies for this and let me know if you've got any other questions.

Take care.

Re: Download speed fluctuating.

Thanks for the response/update Heather, 10th Jan is a long time to wait, is there any possibility this issue can be escalated as I need the speed at peak times for my job.

Re: Download speed fluctuating.

Any update on this situation Heather?

Getting extremely slow speeds and is coming to a point where I'm going to have to switch providers if this persists.

Re: Download speed fluctuating.

Hi Andyt,

Thanks for getting back to me Smiley Happy

Unfortunately I don't have the ability to quicken up this process. These faults can take a while to resolve due to the complexity of the work required, also we very often have to gain permission from 3rd parties which can cause delays. I'll send you a PM (purple envelope, top right) with more info.

Catch you soon,

Take care.
