Consistently poor speeds

Hi all,

Can you help. I've been getting consistently poor.

When I was on 200mb/s i was getting around 5mb/s. I downgraded as I wasn't getting what I paid for and it improved to around 5-15mb/s sometimes as high as 20mb/s. Is there anything wrong with my signal etc?? Details below:

Downstream Channels
Lock Status Channel ID Frequency Modulation Rx Power RxMER Pre RS Errors Post RS Errors
Locked 9 299000000 Hz 256 QAM -3.6 dBmV 36.4 dB 396 309
Locked 5 267000000 Hz 256 QAM -4.9 dBmV 36.0 dB 790 306
Locked 6 275000000 Hz 256 QAM -4.4 dBmV 36.0 dB 310 290
Locked 7 283000000 Hz 256 QAM -4.1 dBmV 36.2 dB 305 293
Locked 8 291000000 Hz 256 QAM -3.5 dBmV 36.8 dB 908 907
Locked 10 307000000 Hz 256 QAM -3.6 dBmV 36.4 dB 294 294
Locked 11 315000000 Hz 256 QAM -3.4 dBmV 36.2 dB 922 921
Locked 12 323000000 Hz 256 QAM -2.9 dBmV 36.4 dB 302 299

Upstream Channels
Lock Status Channel ID Frequency Modulation Tx Power Mode Channel Bandwidth Symbol Rate
Locked 50 31000000 Hz ATDMA 55.7 dBmV 16QAM 6400000 Hz 5120 Ksym/sec

If not I'll be leaving for Sky Fibre as no longer in contract period and fed up with rubbish broadband.

Cheers in advance.

Dave

Re: Consistently poor speeds

Hey Dave,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community Smiley Very Happy

Apologies for the slow speeds you're getting at the moment, I appreciate this is frustrating. Checking your connection I can see that we're working on a fault in your area. The fault ref is: F004179815 and it's due for review on the 17th May, this fault can cause reduced speeds during peak time hours.

What are your off peak speeds like?

Thanks again for posting and being so patient.

Take care.
