Confirmed Review date, Should I be excited?

I am currently on my 6th review date over 13 months which is the 18/01/17, i have been chasing this date all week with the forum mods to make sure its still going ahead as by past experence as you got close to the date it would get changed for another.

As mentioned above i have been in contact with the VM Mods by email and this morn they confirmed my review will go ahead as planned, their exact wording was " WE WILL BE REVIEWING THE FAULT ON THE 18TH FOR YOU".

Now i have never had this in the 13 months i have had the dreaded over utilisation issue and to be honest not to sure what this actually means, should i feel positive that things may start to happen or is it a case that it could take another 12 months to be actually worked on?

I just hope it means things will start to happen but not holding my breath when it comes to VM.

Re: Confirmed Review date, Should I be excited?

It's best not to get too excited. When they resolve a problem, it usually happens without any notice at some point between review dates. If your problem hasn't been fixed yet, chances are it will just get a new review date on the 18th.

Well it doesn't say 'Repairing the fault' does it, so my money would be on it being put back again.

Re: Confirmed Review date, Should I be excited?

I presume it simply means they will be reviewing what still needs to be done and then putting a new timescale on it.

Re: Confirmed Review date, Should I be excited?

The review always goes ahead.

Customers just assume as they get a new review date that the review doesn't take place but it does.

Re: Confirmed Review date, Should I be excited?

5Mbs on ADSL is not a bad minimum speed. It'll likely be quite a bit more than this and at least it'll be stable. It's enough to watch 1080p content on.
