Buffering on Amazon/Iplayer

I have a Samsung Smart TV and use it to access Amazon/BBC Iplayer. Despite getting 40+ mb/s, it constantly buffers, then freezes. This is really annoying. Rang VirginMedia who advised no fault. I cannot believe this. Is it my router?

Sorry to read that you are experiencing buffering/freezing when using the apps on your Smart TV.

 

Is the TV connected through a wired or wireless connection?

Do you notice this issue on any other device? 

 

I did check your account for any issues and the Modem SNR (signal to noise ratio) is too low at 28 dB. For this I would like to book an engineer to take a look at this. I've sent you a PM (purple envelope icon, right corner) with some details for you to confirm please.
