Broadband speed

Over the last 3 days my broadband has slowed down I have run a speed check it says 9MB download and 10.1 upload Not a clue  what this means but it was 70mb and very fast I now have buffering.?

Sorry to hear about your recent speed reduction, I can't see any obvious reason for this when I check your connection.

 

Are you typically using a wireless or a hard-wired connection when you perform a speed test? Do you notice speed reductions on multiple devices or just one specifically?

Have you noticed this at certain times or at all times? Also, which broadband package are you on, and how many devices do you have connected to the internet?

Thanks I have SUPERFIBRE 70 VIVIA OPTICAL FIBRE WITH FULL UPGRADE TO 70 Mbps and it was working fine before this upgrade.I have no other devices working of my broadband except the new vivia TV. Would it be possible that my old PC  modem might be causing this buffering ? I dont know to much Technical stuff regarding computers.

Thanks I got it sorted through Virgin help line I think it was just a case of resetting the modem after upgrading my new tivio package. Anyway Its back up to full speed again.
