Broadband speed is so inconsistent

My broadband speed has never been anywhere near the 200 mb/s, which would be if ok if it was fairly good. It has been 50/60 off peak at times. During peak hours I
have to switch my phone onto my 4G. Today my speed is 1-3 mb/s the lowest it's ever been. It's impacting my work as well as I work from home 2 days a week. I've been told a credit will be added to my account but I'm not bothered about the money, I just want even a third of the speed I'm supposed to be getting. I've tried resetting my router and checked my connections over and over. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Duncan3679,

 

Sorry to hear you're getting poor speeds. I've just checked your connection and can see no issues from here. Your power levels, SNR and area contention all look healthy. 

How are you connected to the hub? If wireless could you try a wired connection and let us know if this improves your speeds?
