Broadband keeps dropping out - Very Annoying

Hi,

Over the last few weeks my broadband connection keeps dropping out.  It happens through out the day, on numerous occasions, lasting for a few mins each time.

This is very frustrating as I work from home a lot and have to keep reconnecting to my companies VPN system each time it happens!

I live in the OX12 area.

Hi Mozzarilla, 

 

Thank you for taking the time to post about your issues with your intermittent broadband connection, this can be frustrating I know so apologies for any inconvenience.

 

I have tested the connection from this end and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary! No errors or time outs inside the Hubs logs and all of the power levels are within the preferred range.

 

How are you connecting, wired or wireless? 

 

What do the lights on the Hub indicate when the connection drops?

 

Could you please respond to me here with a recent copy of your Hubs logs for me to compare with the data we have here. You can find these by opening your internet browser and typing 192.168.0.1 into the address bar, in the top right hand corner before logging in it will say 'Router Status' click there and all the information needed is inside.

Thanks for responding!

 

I appreciate you posting the copy of your Hubs logs! I've had another look and I can see a number of time outs inside each of your upstream channels, I would like to arrange for an engineer to attend and give the connection the once over and resolve this for you.

 

I will send you a PM (purple envelope at the top) detailing what's required to proceed with making the booking. Please respond to me there and I'll get this sorted for you.
