Broadband is very slow

Need help working out why my internet is so slow.  For just over a week I've had a very slow connection pretty constantly whether daytime or evening.  I'm supposed to have a 150mb connection but my performance seems miles off as the speed test below shows.

I've tried all the reset options but nothing seems to work, any ideas?

Re: Broadband is very slow

Run a speed test to speedtest.net

post the result...

Tell us how you are connecting to your HUB? Wired? Wireless?

Re: Broadband is very slow

Wow thats way better....Smiley Sad

So we can help us to help you, can you

Go to your Superhub Log in screen

Do NOT log in.

Little button top right.....

Can you post Upstream, Downstream and Network logs.

Screen caps are nice, C&P will do- Don't stress about formatting if you C&P. Someone will get a look and see if there's anything obvious amiss.

Re: Broadband is very slow

Pointless testing wirelessly as it is affected by many factors like client hardware, range, interference and the topography of your home. You will need to test connected directly to the hub by ethernet cable to get the true connection speed.

Re: Broadband is very slow

Hi pbal31,

Welcome to our community, thanks for joining Smiley Happy

I have tested your connection but can see reason for the slow speeds aside from low modem SNR on 2 of the connected downstreams.

I think it might be a good idea to arrange for an engineer visit. He/she can get the modem SNR increased to an acceptable level and we can then see how your connection is. It might be that you are afflicted by common WiFi issues but we'll tackle that later if needed.

Please reply to my PM (purple envelope icon, top right of page) and I'll book an appointment for you.

Smiley Happy

By the way, Kippies showed how to access Hub data here.

Or access steps are described in our help article.
