Broadband 90% Failure Rate

Hi

 

My broadband speed (Area 24) is currently lucky to hit 20Mbps, around 10% of the rate I am paying Virgin to provide.  I appreciate the documentation states upto 200Mbps, but I would expect it to be close - not a country mile away.

Anyone know how I can get this speed issue improved?

Thanks for posting and a warm welcome to the community.

 

I'm sorry to see that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.

 

From checking your connection, there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing slow speeds. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F003883122 and with a review date of 8th February 2017.

 

As this will impact your connection during peak hours, do you notice these speeds outside these hours? Are you testing through a wired or wireless connection?
