Bad internet speed and service

We pay for 150mb but download speed is at best 5mb/s and upload is at best 5mb/s. Called virgin today and was told it would be sorted, still as bad as it has been for the last few months.

Appauled at the service received.

Any assistance or advice as to how to increase the speed ?!

Same as you in the Billinge area. Just pnoned them. Awaiting to see if their afforts succeed

My apologies that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds. I know how frustrating this can be.

 

From checking your connection, there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing slow speeds. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F004609666 and with a review date of 28th December.

 

As this will impact your connection during peak hours, do you get these speeds outside these hours?
