Back to slow internet - UB6 Area

Soo where to begin, I had slow internet for over 1 year n a half. peak time going down to 2-3mb.

Over utilization was the problem. Excuses after excuses. It finally got fixed in June-July this year, i got moved to a new server, I was a happy person, finally got internet i could use in the evenings. Happy Days.

I am back to rubbish speeds again. They increased my monthly cost, but im back to rubbish speeds. i am not even hitting 5% of my speeds i get off-peak. And im not even a heavy user. Just online gaming after work. 

Seriously, you guys need to stop over selling if its the same problem again!!!

Thanks for getting in touch to let us know about your issues with slow internet, I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have run some tests on your connection from here and I can see that your Hubs logs show a very large number of T3 & T4 time outs. I would like to arrange for an engineer to attend and investigate things further for you.

My internet is going from bad to worse. Every evening, pings going 800+ and packets being dropped all the time.

3 years + i been with virgin, but only had decent service for 5 months. Seriously why keep overselling it in the area.

Any Admins want to reply. dropping packets every evening. Really frustrating. Would love to have a proper connection for atleast 1 year.

Hi hiroson,

I am sorry that your broadband has begun to experience problems again. This time though it is due to low SNR and network errors. The notes on fault ref: F005227607 indicate that the source of the noise has been located by the assigned network technician and that some remedial work has taken place, with more to follow.

I'll check back tomorrow for you and keep you notified of what's happening, and I've also noted details about this on your account.

Hi hiroson,

I've just checked and fault ref: F005227607 is now set to 'restored'. Which means that the assigned Network engineer has fixed the issue but the situation is being monitored for a time to make certain nothing else needs attention.
