Could someone from VM please clarify what exactly is going on with your Broadband network?
Having been with VM for years I have found the service more or less rock solid, however these past few days / week I am finding it difficult to get past 20mb on a service that is usually stable at 220+ mb.
Your service status shows no issues however I can't help but think that this is a network fault.
I am also just outside of Belfast and having the exact same issues, I have been on the phone as well as chat over the past few months and I can barely get past a 6mbs down which for the £50 I am paying for a month is an absolute disgrace and they have been completely unhelpful but very willing to take money from me each month.
I had been complaining about poor speeds when I was living in a different home a few months ago and now that I am in a new home (only 5 mins away from my old place) I am STILL having the same issues even after the engineer came and installed the box himself and checked for faults.
